Government service discontinued

At the start of April 2022 the Government Apprenticeships service removed support for its embedded vacancy widget service.

This move left many suppliers and partners without a way to easily display apprenticeship vacancies on their website.

A new API (Application Programming Interface) has been launched to replace the previous widget service.

Our solution + Gov API

The new Government API includes the "Display advert API" which provides access to all apprenticeship vacancies nationally.

We use this API to request and display vacancies based on a number of filters you can set up in your customised widget.

Set the domain name of your site and the colour scheme for the widget.

Add 2 lines of code into your CMS e.g. WordPress or ask your developer to make the change.

We collect the data for your widget feed from the gov.uk display advert API every few hours. We keep a copy of each vacancy so the widget loads quickly on your site.
