You probably wouldn’t replace Copilot. Most teams who choose Claude run it alongside their Microsoft 365 licenses. Use Copilot for embedded work inside Word, Excel and Outlook and Claude as the thinking and writing partner that lives in the browser. If you are on our Magnitude AI Pathway (you should be) we will help you to choose your AI stack at stage 2.
Claude’s paid plans (Team, Enterprise) don’t train on your inputs. Our Claude AI training goes into Projects, data boundaries, retention and the specific patterns to use when handling sensitive material.
The Model Context Protocol lets Claude talk to your internal systems like Slack, Google Drive, your CRM, in a controlled way. You don’t need MCP to get value from Claude but if your roadmap involves AI doing real work inside your stack, MCP is going to feature. We wrote this MCP explainer that teams use as their reference.
Yes it is, and in measurable ways for the work most teams do. We’ll show you side-by-side comparisons during the training but the short version is Claude tends to write better English, reason more carefully over long documents and decline to answer when it shouldn’t. ChatGPT has the broader feature set and a larger user base. So they are different tools, doing similar but potentially different jobs inside your business.
