Magnifica are expanding and we are currently looking to recruit a Developer to join our growing development team. You will have strong maths skills and ideally a computing/software related degree.

You’ll be working on a number of exciting software projects as well as systems integration and mobile applications. You will also be part of the team developing Magnifica’s own application framework called Fibre.

Plain text copy and paste - no more notepad

PureText is a great little utility that allows you to create a hotkey that clears any formatting from the text currently in the clipboard.

As developers, especially when working on websites, we spend a lot of time copying and pasting content. It's pretty frustrating when formatting is copied with the text i.e. when you copy from a webpage to a Word document you get al the styles as well.

SQL Server Management Studio Keyboard Shortcuts

It can be a bit of a pain when writing long SQL statements when you want to check a table for data. Some people write the full 'Select' statement, some use the side bar, I use a keyboard shortcut to execute a Select statement really quickly.
